Huckleberry Pie
2 cups apples
2 cups huckleberries
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 T flour
2 T butter
1 double crust pastry
Thicken apples, huckleberries, sugar, cinnamon ,salt, flour and butter on top of the stove. Pour filling into a pastry lined pan. Top with pastry. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.

Grandma Helen's Skor Cake
1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
2 large eggs
2 cups warm water
Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs and water. Blend for 2 minutes. Pour in greased and floured 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until cake pulls away from the sides of the pan.
Frosting:
1 cube butter, softened
1-2 cups powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
2 or 3 skor candy bars
Whip butter and powdered sugar together. Fold in Cool Whip. Put it on top of the cold cake. Sprinkle the crushed Skor bars on top. Keep refrigerated.

Grandma Helen's Soft Molases Cookies

1/4 cup light molases
1 beaten egg
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp soda
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
Beat butter, sugar, and molasses until fluffy. Add egg, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Use one cup of flour and mix until smooth. Roll into balls and roll in sugar. Bake for 8 mintues at 350 degrees.
