Like I said, the ingredient list is simple, basic and almost ridiculous with how easy it is. Brown sugar, melted butter, and pineapple. By the way, we don’t core our pineapple when we grill it. It makes it a little more firm and easier to grill when you leave the core in.
Mix the butter and brown sugar together, grill the pineapple on a medium high flame, turning once until it is fragrant, and beginning to show grill marks, remove and then immediately brush each side with with the butter mixture. Fall in love!

- 1 pineapple, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 stick of unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
instructions
- in a bowl, melt the butter at 20 second increments in the microwave. remove from the microwave and add the brown sugar, stirring quickly to evenly combine, this will take a minute to absorb the sugar.
- heat a grill to medium high heat and add the pineapple, cooking for a few minutes or until grill marks begin to appear. flip and cook again on the other side. remove from the grill and quickly brush the butter brown sugar mixture over each side. serve immediately.
